Mental Health Week
Children's Mental Health Week
(3-9 February 2025)
What is Mental Health?!
How we feel inside, in our hearts and minds
Sometimes we feel happy, sometimes sad, sometimes worried...
But that is okay!
As parents and carers, there are ways we can support our children to give them the best chance to stay mentally healthy. It’s important to encourage children to be aware of their own mental health and to reflect on their wellbeing. We can all start to encourage this from a young age.
How can we take care of ourselves?
Talk to someone
Be kind to ourselves
Help others
Be thankful
Children's Mental Health Week 2025 will take place from 3-9 February 2025.
The theme for 2025 is Know Yourself, Grow Yourself.
Launched by the children’s mental health charity, Place2Be, the aim is to encourage children and young people to embrace and explore self-awareness.
During Mental Health week our school will present a special Collective Worship for the children as well as having relevant discussions within class time.
There are lots of resources online to help and we would encourage you browse these links -
