Our Christian Distinctiveness
I Know Who I Am
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
Psalm 139:14
Our Christian vision and values are at our core and underpin life at Macaulay.
Our Vision and Motto
At Macaulay, we are an inspirational, nurturing and inclusive community that celebrates each child as uniquely created by God. Inspired by Psalm 139:14, we believe every child is valued, gifted and full of potential to flourish and make a positive contribution to their wider communities.
Our motto, “I Know Who I Am,” reflects our commitment to enable children to develop a strong sense of identity and purpose. We encourage children to discover their strengths, grow in character and develop their abilities, so they learn to make wise choices, respect others and fulfil their potential in all aspects of life.
Our Christian Values
Macaulay's values, rooted in Christian beliefs, are integral to life at Macaulay and guide our approach to teaching and learning and personal development.

SIAMS Report, 2019
SIAMS Reports
Our distinctiveness and effectiveness as a Church of England school is inspected every 5 years with a Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report. Our most recent report was July 2019, when we achieved the highest grade of 'Excellent'. Prior to that inspection, we were awarded the highest grade of 'Outstanding' in July 2014.
The reports are a testament to the strong and committed community of staff, parents, governors and children that make up Macaulay.
