I Know Who I Am
Safer Internet Day 2023
7th February 2023
This year's theme is 'Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online'.
In school we talked about how we use the internet, and what our top tips might be for using the internet safely. Key Stage Two enjoyed an interactive film, where they responded to different scenarios considering how they could be safe, respectful and responsible users of the internet.
Have a look at what we got up to! We really enjoyed playing games and learning about the internet's benefits together, whilst also sharing helpful tips and advice.
Reception
Reception made their own iPads, choosing their favourite apps. They talked about how they could be safe when using the iPads. Remember to always tell a grown up!
Year 2
Year 2 enjoyed playing the top tips game, where they discussed what they would do in different scenarios online. They also worked hard reviewing apps and completing 'internet interviews' with each other.
Year 4 and Year 5
Year 4 and 5 responded to different online scenarios. They also wrote their top tips for being safe online.
Safer Internet Day 2022
Year 1
We created our own avatars to use online to keep our information safe, and also discussed the importance of passwords that are safe with the help of Digiduck!
Year 2
We used 'emoji fans' to discuss how different online scenarios would make us feel. We wrote some advice to digiduck who had been bullied online. We then made our own video with top tips for online safety!
Year 3
Year 3 have been working hard, explaining ways we can stay safe online.
Year 4 and 5
