Macaulay Church of England Primary School

I Know Who I Am

Macaulay Nursery

Our new nursery is now open!

We are delighted to have the nursery children with us in the main school building.  Their new learning environment is already busy.

There are many opportunities for outdoor learning that enables us to deliver the Early Years curriculum in creative ways.  The children are involved with growing fruit and vegetables that they can use in their weekly cookery sessions, they learn French through songs and games with Madame Sally, join the older children for performances and events and make local trips to places such as the Omnibus Theatre.

All activities are designed to allow the children to develop and learn through the EYFS areas of learning:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

Children can join our nursery the term after their third birthday.  We offer free 30 hour places for eligible children as well as morning or afternoon places for those children who are eligible for free 15 hour places.  Additional sessions can be bought if required.

We currently have places available for our afternoon sessions this year, if you are interested in a nursery place for your child please speak to Mrs Lilly in the school office on 020 7622 1355.
