Ms Janet, brought in a photograph of her father traveling over on the Windrush ship at the age of 19.

The children explored an ancient roman villa and even found some evidence of Christian symbols in a time when Christianity was illegal to practice. They also worked in groups and became archaeologists, digging for artefacts.

UK Parliament Week 2021

Just like MPs and members of the House of Lords use debates to discuss topics and challenge the work of the Government, Year 4 put their debating skills to work this week. Year 4 worked in teams to answer some tough questions: "Do uniforms lead to better behaved pupils?", "Is it wrong to keep any animal as a pet?" and "Should bullies be excluded from schools?".

They all did an amazing job and we look forward to our next debate.

Class Trip to Morden Hall Park 19/10/21

We had a fantastic time at Morden Park Hall today. Students worked in groups to measure the physical features of the River Wandle from two different sites. Science Fun!

This half-term we have been learning all about Electricity. Students have good knowledge of the essential components of a circuit. Yesterday, they were put to the test by creating different circuits to see if they were complete or incomplete.

Come back next week to see us testing different conductors and insulators.
